Pliers for gripping, positioning and cutting
The slim jaws of the Knipex 25 01 160 are tapered at the front. With this design, these needle nose pliers are suitable for different tasks: for fine, well metered gripping and holding of components and for the efficient cutting of cables and wires. The shape of the cutting edge on the Knipex 25 01 160 results in an efficient bite type cut – as with diagonal cutters.
Thanks to the additional induction hardening of the blades (cutting edge hardness approx. 61 HRC), it powerfully cuts cable, soft and medium-hard wire (cutting capacity Ø 2.5 mm) and hard wire (cutting capacity Ø 1.6 mm).
Stable needle nose pliers, also also when twisting and during powerful cutting
The precision tips of the Knipex 25 01 160 are elastic and therefore stable when twisted. This pays off when securely holding larger components, but also when holding and guiding smaller parts. The user can always measure the manual force deployed carefully. Comparatively little effort is required when cutting because the cutting edges are in a favourable position near the joint of the pliers. Manual force is ideally transmitted to the material to be cut.
Good working even in confined spaces thanks to slim design
These needle nose pliers have been specially developed for work in confined spaces. With the jaws that are pointed at the front, the user can grip and hold components and wire firmly. These pliers are therefore valued as a particularly useful tool during repairs, maintenance work and installations.
